Medlanky rubber -
for seniors M-min. i.e. miniscale in 1/20, old-timers BV with solid propeller (i.e. BV-1, BV-3) will
compete according to national rules, i.e. for BV-1 and BV-3 maximum of 90s.
Absolute winner will be determined in FLY OFF- single flight with no limits,
or if there are not more than one competitor with three maxims then the one with the lowest loss.
Absolute winner in categories M-min and oldtimer BV will obtain the cup and award,
there are awards for the second and third as well.

Petřík's Cup -
for young people up to 15 years ol with M-min and oldtimers.
The winner in M-min and old-timer will receive award and a cup,
all the others will obtain little gifts including model kits.
- Jumbo Scale -
FAC JUMBO category (multiplanes span 30-35 inches (762-889mm), monoplanes 36-41 inches
(914-1041mm). Total points are sum of static points, bonuses and flight points. For details see FAC rules.
This new category will be attached into the program if at least 10 competitors register prior to 30.4.2008.
- FAC Cup -
contest of rubber powered miniscales according to American FAC rules (editorial note: introduction to FAC categories

Following categories are proposed:
- World war I - mass launch
Mass launch contest of miniscales of mass produced military aircraft used in the first world war;
1914-1918 (no wingspan limit): At least three rounds will be flown with the first aircraft down during each round
being eliminated. The last three aircraft down in the last round will take first second and third place.
- World war II - mass launch
Mass launch contest of miniscales of mass produced military aircraft used in the second world war; 1938-1945
(no wingspan limit): At least three rounds will be flown with the first aircraft down during each round being
eliminated. The last three aircraft down in the last round will take first second and third place.
- Schneider Trophy - mass launch
Mass launch contest for miniscales of aircraft that competed in or were planned for the Schneider trophy races
from 1925 to 1939 (no wingspan limit): At least three rounds will be flown with the first aircraft down during
each round being eliminated. The last three aircraft down in the last round will take first second and third place.
- Pylon racers - mass launch
Mass launch event contest for miniscales of aircraft that competed in pylon races between 1925 to 1939
(24 inch (600 mm) wingspan limit): At least three rounds will be flown with the first aircraft down during each
round being eliminated. The last three aircraft down in the last round will take first second and third place.
- FAI peanuts - Peanuts contest according to standard FAI rules
- Kit/Dime scale For models of 508 mm (20 inch) wing span or less built from commercial kit plans (current or out of
production kit plans are eligible, models built from FAC pseudo Dime and Dime scale plans are eligible, plans may be
scaled up 130% to 508 mm). Static points are assigned based on one photograph to document the color scheme used
and on the match between the model and the plan (deviations from the plan are penalized).
Flight points will be assigned based on duration (the longest of three official flights will be used to
determine the flight points). See FAC dime scale rules
for the details of scoring procedure.
Particular exhibition categories will be flown prior and after the main Openscale categories. To attend this competition
you need to register on Bernard Guest's adress, as he is the head of FAC part of Openscale. Detail plan of FAC exhibition

Do not forget to mention what category of FAC Cup you are about to attend. People attending FAC Cup will be informed two months
prior to Openscale what categories are finally scheduled to Openscale program.

Airfield will probably run ordinary glider traffic,
starting place - after the briefing with flight controller, follow the instructions of organizer,
you can not cross the starting or landing airplane,
the competition is in the official callendar of CMMS actions, but there is no additional insurance.
